Drinking in the work force.
Nowadays we do not have a board meeting in a fancy room full of suits to nail a deal. No, nowadays marketing and selling are done on the leisure floor. More and more in the work force employees and contacts are meeting up outside of work not only to network but, also to make important business deals. High end restaurants use to be the standard of the suits for offsite meetings but now these meetings are taking place at bars and in lounges.
To seal the deal one must get the other to be completely relaxed. You must get the other to trust you and like you. The simplest way to do this is to indulge in the vice of the other along with them. The easiest and less racy is ding you guessed it drinking.
During work, happy hour, after work hookups and at a networking event Drinks always make the air lighter and friendlier.
But does this trend have a limit or is there a proper technique to it?
